About Us

At Marshfield Country Club it has always been about golf - golf the way it’s meant to be played. We are an 18 Hole Par 70 private facility in Marshfield, Massachusetts. The course features 6,295 yards of golf from the back tees for a par of 70. The course rating from the back tees is 70.8 and a slope rating of 131 along with 73.4 and 128 from the forward tees.

The entire golf course was designed by Wayne E. Stiles. The first nine holes opened in 1922 and the second nine opened in 1931. Much of the original design remains the same today and, despite technological advances in golf equipment this relatively short course offers a formidable challenge to golfers of varying abilities.

MCC is a member owned club and we offer a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with well maintained course conditions year round. Set amid gently rolling hills and thick outer woods, it’s the perfect layout for serious golfers. We believe our Mission captures the essence of MCC:

You’ll have to play here more than once to master your approach shots to the greens. The subtle slopes when combined with superb conditions make some of are the most beautifully maintained and challenging surfaces in southern MA. Additionally, our many oak and maple trees provide a dramatic backdrop to the course in the fall.

Our Superintendent, Thomas E. Harrington, and his staff are always coming up with new ways to make your golfing experience a pleasure. Our Greens Crew is attentive and anticipates how to compensate for the adverse effects of weather in the Plymouth Bay area. You’ll find great practice facilities, cutting-edge golf instructions, and state-of-the- art golf equipment and apparel under Alec Vozzella PGA Professional, and his staff. Alec and his staff provide instructional programs for beginners and families and facilitates small member-sponsored golf outings. Our Director of Operations, James Antonelli and his entire staff will provide you with a wonderful dining experience to complement your golfing experience. We pay special attention to our member/guest dietary requirements and our newly expanded grill room/patio dining offer several menu/venue alternatives. Additionally, MCC caters to member functions fewer than 150 people in our member function room.

MCC has a reputation as a club with an active and diverse membership who embrace the above mentioned MISSION statement. As a member owned club, we encourage our members to get involved in club management/governance in an effort to determine the direction in which we take our club.
